Accountant (1 Positions):

About Sundar STEM School:

Sundar STEM School is a premier educational institution in Sundar Sharif, Lahore, dedicated to advancing STEM education and nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and contribute to the school's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Maintain and oversee accurate financial records, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process and manage accounts, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Payroll Management: Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Financial Reporting: Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports, and present insights to management.

Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with tax laws and reporting requirements.

Auditing Support:

Assist in annual audits and ensure proper documentation of financial activities.

Trust Accounting:

Manage financial operations and reporting specific to trust structures, ensuring compliance with trust regulations and guidelines.

Cost Optimization: Identify areas for financial efficiency and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with prior experience working for a Trust or similar organization.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Analytical Skills:

Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.

Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with local tax laws, trust accounting standards, and financial compliance requirements in Pakistan.
